Using a origin game on steam is more like a shortcut, you can have it in your library but that's about it. Even EA games brought on steam launch with origin. To my knowledge there is no way around it. I'm all for using a controller on games. But the sims 4 is not one of them, it's one of those games that's just really suited to mouse/keyboard.
